TCUM becomes member of the International Association of Universities

Obtaining a license for higher education activities (short-term courses, undergraduate and postgraduate studies) in 25 programmes

Academic accreditation of TCUM. The University is the first non-state institution and the 6th accredited university in Moldova

Inauguration of TCUM sports complex

TCUM Teaching and Consulting Centre was set up in Tiraspol

 

2002

The 5th Session of the Rectors’ Council of Consumer Co-operatives Higher Education Institutions, CIS countries

 

2003

TCUM was the first to launch nationally the idea of implementing

Quality Management Systems in the educational institutions of Moldova

Honorary title „Honorary Member of the Cooperative Academic Community” was instituted

TCUM Teaching and Consulting Centre was set up in Soroca

 

2004

Intensive development of international partnerships

 

2005

Academic accreditation of three more programmes

Implementation of Bologna Process principles: introduction of the two-cycle degree system (Bachelor/Master) in higher education and the National Credit System at the TCUM

The National Council for Accreditation and Attestation approves the Scientific Seminars in 5 doctoral programmes at TCUM

 

2006

TCUM has obtained a new license for higher education activities: undergraduate, master and postgraduate (master) studies

TCUM has become member to the International Association of Commodity Experts and Technologists

Periodical publishing of TCUM Scientific Annals has started

 

2007

Institutional academic re-accreditation and re-accreditation of 7 programmes

 

TCUM Printing Unit was established

 

2008

Academic accreditation of 2 more programmes

The first generation of cycle I graduates – Bachelor studies

The first enrolment to Master degree studies (cycle II)

Laboratory of Scientific Research on trade and consumer co-operatives fields of activity was established

Signing of Magna Charta Universitatum, September16 (Bologna, Italy)

Implementation of the first institutional research project, obtained through national contest and co-financed from the state budget

TCUM Campus in Soroca was set up

Opening of the Centre for Co-operative Studies and Resources

Conducting multiple events in the context of 2012 UN International Year of Co-operatives

ISO 9001:2008 Recertification of the Institutional Quality Management System

Initiating academic mobility programmes for students and academic staff

 

2013

Development of institutional partnerships in the framework of TEMPUS and ERASMUS MUNDUS projects, and bi-lateral agreements

 

2014

International accreditation of the Programme in Law (Bachelor studies) by ARACIS (Romania)

Re-accreditation of the university as an organization of science and innovation, internationally competitive, in the field „Economy and management of trade and consumer co-operatives development”

The scientific journal „Research on Trade, Management and Economic Development” (JRTMED) was established, its national accreditation took place

 

2015

International accreditation of the Master’s Programme in Public Law by EKKA (Estonia)

Implementation of the institutional applied research project „Development of internal trade and consumer co-operatives in the context of the economic integration of the Republic of Moldova in the European Community space”, obtained in the result of national contest

Creation and authorization of the Doctoral School „Economy and Management of Trade and Consumer Co-operatives Development”

Elaboration and approval of the first TCUM Charter

Creating the Institutional Strategic Development Council
